The process for submitting and reviewing offers is as follows:

Offers are invited for the sale of each property on an individual basis. Offers are due by 5:00pm Friday, February 16, 2018, following which a short list of offers for the property will be created based on an evaluation of each offer received.

The City Council will review the offers at a closed session.

Prior to the closed session, the City may review offers, shortlist and interview selected buyers and negotiate any terms that require countering or clarification. This process shall ensure that by the time the recommended offer(s) go before the City Council, terms have been negotiated with the Buyer if they are selected. Once a buyer(s) is/are selected by the City Council the City Attorney will be authorized to prepare a purchase and sale agreement.

All offerers will be required to validate their offer with a verification of market pricing, such as an appraisal, prior to final acceptance of the offer.
